RCITY was officially established in August of 2014 as a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization, and has been functioning since the spring of 2012.  RCITY was established by a group of individuals in Wichita that have a desire to benefit communities both locally and globally.  RCITY’s current focus areas are Wichita, Kansas, and Kitale, Kenya.  Our dream is to grow this service to these communities so that more people can be positively impacted.  Since it’s inception, RCITY has been involved in many projects with only volunteer help, our desire is to grow our service reach through the help of financial partners.  Some of the projects undertaken by RCITY are listed below:

Feed 250 homeless monthly

Served as hub for tornado relief for the Wichita tornado in 2012 and provided relief for the Oklahoma tornado in 2012

Served 50 families through food pantry and holiday meals

Provided back to school supplies for Cessna Elementary

Performed beautification project for Cessna Elementary

Helped raise money for ICT SOS

Helped organize a free baseball clinic at Lawrence Dumont Stadium

Provided toys for 300 kids in Kenya and Honduras for Christmas
